hello! i m 20(male) i m having dandruff since my childhood but from past 3-4 years it has become very severe and i m losing too much hair too from that time.at first my scalp started becoming oily(3-4 years back and it wasn t oily before that) and the dandruff became severe.i was having very little hairfall at that time but for past 1 and a 1/2 year in addition to the greasy dandruff ,my hairfall has become too severe and my scalp has started itching.i had consulted a dermatologist in january.he didn t even see my scalp and prescribed betage lotion,keraglo ad shampoo(2%),a multivitamin and panthenol tab.none of them worked except the betage lotion reduced my itching a bit but dandruff and hairfall persisted.i wash my hair daily with a mild shampoo(ZPT based) to reduce oil.i have dandruff all over my scalp but at some places(like sides,front) i have disastrous dandruff and lose more hair from those places.my dandruff becomes more severe in monsoons and winters.do i have seborrhoeic dermatitis?i m getting depressed.please suggest some remedy. i do masturbate about 4 times a week but i don t think it s causing any problem.am i right?
