What Causes Severe Throat Pain On Left Side After Having Thyroid Removed?
I have been waking up in the middle of the night with terrible pain. It feels like my gut is being torn apart.It starts on my left side. I had my thyroid removed, and I also have trouble with irritable syndrome. I got up and moved around and then laid back down. It got better. That has happened several times this week. Any suggestions. The pain does not feel good

This could be due to gastric ulcer. You can try Tab Omeprazole 20mg per day. take it 1 hour before food. it should relieve your symptoms.
Also get an ECG since it is a left sided pain. MI can also present like this rarely. If symptoms still persist kindly consult your Gastroenterologist.
