Hola I was diagnosed with scleroderma morphea in April of 2015 since then I ve been suffering from my mouth alot they gave me the mouthwash Nyst/lidocaine/q-dryl & it hurts my N ch when I swallow with nausea. Well then I was with it so long they just gave Lidocaine pure it worked better for the pain. Then my mouth felt like i eaten 100 pineapples my tongue was burning it was too harsh then I was on the mouthwash off and on. Then now last week on Monday I woke up with severe pain on my throat ( I had a tonsillectomy when I was 17yrs. Old) I changed Doctors he gave me an antibiotic telling me u cannot have an infection well now I ve been suffering so much my tongue is burning all the time i have cuts not blisters inside my inner lips my palate is all red the tip of my tongue is the worst the palate is all red I m in horrible pain even water sometimes burns. Well I live in Texas in a somewhat small growing fast border town alot of suffering people go across the border and see a Dr. A specialist or for medicines only too. Well my friend had to go across he asked me let s try to get some shots for you. So I said YES PLEASE !!! So he got me Rocephin shots of one g. They were 3 shots I gave myself one and I thought for sure it was gonna hurt like always with my Doctor here.but it didn t (I m an MA studying to be an RN.) So I know how to give shots. The shot didn t hurt at all!!! No pain? Is this really rocephin i asked myself that s when I read the fine print the liquid solution instead of saline it was Lidocaine!! Finally my question is would I need more than three shots of rocephin? Cuz it s been a year of waking up in pain getting worst all the time I m really suffering!!! I can t even brush my teeth the toothpaste feels like fire!!!! Remember each shot is 1g. Of Rocephin with the liquid being lidocaine.
