What Causes Severe Swelling In The Ankle?

I injured my foot playing basketball. I went to the walk in clinic and they took an X-ray which said I had a broken bone.I made an appointment to see an orthopedist but can t see him till Monday.This happened on Wednesday. I am in a soft cast and an not able to put any weight on om foot. I am a little concerned because my ankle is severely swollen. My toes and foot are very cold.Do you think I am ok to Wait until ?Monday? thank you, I am a female, 6 , 140 lbs

your problem has been diagnosed.youhave to to consult orthopaedic surgeon. exclude diabetes and weight is to be controlled. take second opinion about fracture and get yourself admitted to bigger hospital.
