What Causes Severe Swelling In Lower Leg And Foot?
Hi. I have had an increasingly swollen left foot and lower leg. Noticed a rash on right foot 11 days ago, the swelling isn t as bad as left. Pain, swelling and discoloration into L lower femur. Wheelchair bound and have been cramming as much opium as possible into system for last 8 weeks. Started on Nefopam about then. Hate going to GP so keep avoiding visit even though swelling etc increases every day.

You need to be examined clinically by your attending physician. There is need to look at your heart, liver and kidneys.
Doppler ultrasound of the legs along with the baselines investigation should be done....
Stay calm and meet your physician.
