What Causes Severe Stomach Pain Above The Naval?

my daughter 18 yo , was having severe stomach pain just above the belly botton that is coming in waves. (between 6 and 10 on severity scale) pain when moving and bending. no nausea, no gas, no desire to vomit. less pain all other times. my husband took her to the doctor (since I am at work now) after urine test and blood work they did not think it was appendix but thought it is probably gastritis. She is still in pain . A teenage friend had an ovarian cyst problem. Should I go back and ask for sonogram. Why is she still in such severe pain when she moves?

Severe pain in abdomen needs to investigated.
Do ultrasound abdomen, serum amylase, lipase and liver function tests.
I would suggest you to give him Syp sucrulfate (ulsanic), antacids, Mebeverine tablet, and Proton Pump inhibitor.
Hope it helps best.
