What Causes Severe Shoulder Pain After A Rotator Cuff Surgery?
I am having pain in my right shoulder. I have previously had rotator cuff surgery. The pain is similar except not as severe. Is there any shoulder therapy I could use to alleviate the pain. Two ibupropfen isn t helping much. Would heat therapy help? Any suggestions will be appreciated.
Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns. Ice therapy would be better option than heat therapy Also, TEN or so called electric stimulations may be beneficial as well as magnetotherapy ot thalssotherapy so you need to consult physiotherapist about these options. Ther is also possible to do therapeutic ultrasound which may be helpful for shoulder arhrosis or tendinitis. ALso it would be good to perform MRI scan to see if there is some surgical issue which may have to be repaired again such as tendon tear: in severe cases, shoulder replacement may be done. But first, you should try with conservative measures that i have mentioned. Some stronger painkillers such as voltaren or diclofenac may be better option than ibuprofenum. Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.
Wishing you good health.
