What Causes Severe Pain Radiating From The Lower Back To The Abdomen?
I am 64 yrs young. The past two nights I have been awaken by severe pain in my abdomen. It radiates from my lower abdomen and sides also from both sides and my back and seems to strike just below my stomach. I cannot lie in bed, must get up and sit with a heating pad on my back until it subsides.

Most probably it will be a spine-related problem like a prolapsed disc or nerve compression.
As a first line management, you can take analgesics like Paracetamol or Aceclofenac for pain relief.
