Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have had a very slight pain in both wrists for about 5 days. Sometimes if I push too hard or pick something heavy up the pain is worse and can extend into my forearm. There has been no injury that occurred it just started one day. I have not noticed any swelling or bruising. Should I go see my family doctor?

General & Family Physician, Dr. Nureini's Response
Hi dear,
Thanks for choosing Healthcare magic.
Based on your symptoms and that it's in both hands then i suspect that you have Carpal tunnel syndrome.
If with the symptoms you mentioned above you have feelings of Numbness or tingling in your fingers then it's more confirmative that it's Carpal tunnel syndrome.
I suggest that you visit your Family Doctor for further evaluation and to find out the cause of the syndrome. The main causes are due to Pregnancy, Diabetes, or Arthritis. The doctor will also check if your symptoms are due to other reasons.
At the moment take ibuprofen 400mg three times a day and visit doctor as soon as you can
Hope this helped
If you have more questions don't hesitate to ask
Wish you all the best
