My pain is sharp under heel and goes to my toes and sometimes up my leg and now I have really bad spasms on my foot.Just want to know what you think it may be?
Hi Thanks for posting on HCM Severe pain in sole of foot especially under heel may be terms metarsalgia. It may be caused by many medical conditions. Some possible causes may include: -Certain foot shapes -Foot deformities -Poorly fitting shoes -Stress fractures -Morton's neuroma -vasculopathy -Neurologic disorders like I will suggest you see the Doctor for examination.Only a keen medical evaluation may help to identify the cause. In the meantime, you may try the following: -Take a pain drug like aceclofenac -A myorelaxant like miorel -A local pain gel like voltarene for massage -Avoid stress From the findings on physical examnation by your Doctor, various tests may be requested to help identify the exact cause. Hope this will help Best regards
