What Causes Severe Pain In The Pelvis And Difficulty In Urinating?

i am having severe pelvic pain, i am having a lot of difficulty urinating, it is super slow in partial is coming not all at once, i had two back surgery herniated disc, recently fall down from bed not sure if that affect my pelvis….not sure who to see if urologist , neurologist or who can help me i am in severe pain.

Hi,

Between the urologist and the neurologist, I would recommend you to see a urologist as this is the specialist that deals with urinary symptoms. The pelvic pain can be related to the urinary symptoms as well.
In males pelvic pain and difficulty urinating can be caused from prostate problems (generally prostatitis) or even urinary infection or urinary stones.

Having a visit with the doctor, a urinalysis and an abdominal ultrasound might help determine the diagnosis and the needed treatment.
