What Causes Severe Pain In The Middle Back?

I have had back pain for eight years now and it radiates down my spine. I went to the doctor and had an MRI and they said I look fine. The back pain never went away. Today I woke up with extreme middle pack pain, I cannot twist or turn around or lean over, and when I am walking I get instances of sharp pain in my leg. I cannot lift heavy things and cannot lay, sit, or stand comfortably. Medication does not help, what is this?

if every scan report is normal..then treatment of choice is physiotherapy and rest....do have a physiotherapy regularly..thy ll teach you some exercises you can do it at you're home it self...and avoid lifting weights...and take rest for 15 day's or so...I hope this resolved you're issue
