What Causes Severe Pain In The Lower Back And Shoulders?
I am in serious pain in shoulders, lower back and now in left foot where there is a swelling around the ankle. I am taking 100 mg. of Lamictal at present and am in fear of taking anything for my pain. All of this is interfering with my sleep and I m worried. What can I do? I cannot access my email at present but would you kindly respond in this box?

The swelling ankle is indicating possible joint dislocation or broken bones. Should run X-ray of the ankle and check out by an orthopedic specialist.
Apply cold compresses locally. Avoid movement of the ankle joint. Take oral analgesic such as Paracetamol or Ibuprofen meanwhile without fear.
Once again should consult immediately with an orthopedic specialist.
