What Causes Severe Pain In The Lower Abdomen On The Right Side?

I am a 21 yr old female having right lower quadrant pain. The pain sometimes feels sharp/ stabbing and other times it s more of an annoying cramp. I am distended with a hard stomach. I am not constipated I have been pretty regular. No possibility of pregnancy. I also am feeling nauseous and no energy if that is related I am unsure.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
I understand your concern
Your symptoms could be due to appendicitis, right kidney infection and stone and right ovarian pain.
I would suggest to consul the emergency department and undergo USG scan of abdomen, blood tests like CBC, ESR, CRP, urine routine and microscopic tests.
Treatment will depend on the cause.
Tablet tramadol
Tablet pantoprazole plus domeperiodone will help
Drink plenty of water and take rest.
Appendicitis require surgery
Hope this may help you
