What Causes Severe Pain In The Knees?

I have periodic sharp pains on the inside muscle of my right knee. It is not constant, happens abruptly, lasts a minute or so and is like no other pain I have ever experienced. It feels like electrical shock, and is very debilitating for that period of time. Last night it woke me twice, first time during the night.

severe pain in knees indicates arthrtitis..which occurs after 30age...u can reduce joint inflammation by taking calcium, milk, reduce your weight if you are overweight, go for walk daily..
