What Causes Severe Pain In The Knees?

hi, i m having really bad pain in my knees all the time. it s hard to walk bc it hurts so bad, and also i am on the hi stepper team so i m doing excersize everyday for 2-4 hours a day. i don t know what do do because no pain killers help at all and i ve already been to the doctor and they said i have reverse j curve, lumbar, hip rotation, underdeveloped LFC and lateral tilt, overdeveloped lateralis v underdeveloped VMO, and high Q angle. i am having to sit out of practice and ice both of my knees all the time now which sucks, do you think crutches would help me move around better and keep the pain down? also why doesn t ANY pain medicine help at all? (sorry for it being so long)

Ophthalmologist 's  Response
Hello,

Maybe lateral tendon of both knees damaged so it is suggested to put on the kneecap. Should be used in both knees. Consult neurologist.

It appears to be a neurological problem. No harm in trying crutches. Consult for surgery after proper investigation. You can go for MRI also.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Ashok Kumar Dash, Ophthalmologist
