What Causes Severe Pain In The Hips And Lower Back?

I had a colonoscopy last Thursday as a routine procedure. On Friday evening I woke up to the pain of throbbing hips that went away, but I have had lower back cramping ever since. Almost like period cramps but I no longer get my period. Could the colonoscopy cause any damage to ovaries, kidneys, etc?
