Acute Pharyngitis is infection of throat which could be caused by virus or bacteria. It is important to differentiate between these two as treatment is different for these two .
I advise you to get Throat swab Culture Sensitivity test done which will be helpful in differentiating between Viral and bacterial infection. Kindly revert back to me with the report.
Till then do salt water gargling, drink hot water, Avoid Non veg and oily food . Avoid Citrus Fruits.
Your back pain could also be due to infection in throat ( yes certain viral throat infection can also cause back pain ) If in case back pain persists even after throat infection is cured then we have to evaluate for the cause of back pain .
Hope this information was useful to you. Any clarifications feel free to ask .
