What Causes Severe Pain In Lower Abdomen During Menstruation?

hi i just had a period and on the 3rd day of my period i got a very bad pain around and below my navel and lower stomarch. i assumed it was gas because i did not eat the morning. but now i notice a slight pain aboive my navel only when i touch it and when i press on it i can feel a lump.

Menstrual pain is more on initial one or two days,but can happen on third day also.
Menstrual pain is usually below the naval and crampy in nature. Pain above the navel and increased when pressing suggests some other etiology(like gastritis,peptic ulcer or may be cholecystitis). Acid reducing agent like pantoprazole/rabeprazole along with analgesic helps.
I would suggest you to consult a physician for proper evaluation and management.
