What Causes Severe Pain In Hip Along With A Lump In Abdomen?

Hi my nane is Ernest Keebler, I am 69 year old retired Marine Corps Veteran..I am waiting to have hip replacement surgery and it is causing severe pain. It was diagnosed three years ago, now when I lay down, I feel this lump above the stomach area, it doesn t hurt and when I am not laying down it just feels like my stomach area is hardened..I have not been exercising because of my hip condition, and have finally achieved the proverbial beer belly...I looked at this web site and it seems it may be a lipoma. I will call my doctor Monday. I just don t want anything interfering with this hip surgery, as it is very debilatatimg. I understand you can t make a diagnosis without seeing it, but can you give me your opinion? Thank You

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if your main concern is swelling that you have and if it is the lipoma then it is very much benign condition and it may not interfere in surgery and it is nothing to worry at all just take it easy hope this information helps.
I find this answer helpful
