What Causes Severe Pain In Calfs After Walking In An Elderly Person?

I m 80 yrs. old, healthy, workout regularly , play lots of golf - in last month, the calfs of both legs are aching after walking only short distance - feels like muscles are pulling - after sitting down for few minutes, pain subsides. Possible causes? and what kind of Dr. should be consulted? Al Baughn

In diabetic neuropathy may cause this type of problem.Check your blood sugar level.
