First possibility of cellulitis like subcutaneous tissue infection could be there.In such case fever can present with pain. Second if bite deep then there might be possibility of infection of bony tissue lead to osteomyelitis.x ray will be useful. For above condition iv antibiotic may needed.then switch over to oral antibiotic. If any discharge from affected area present then it is send for culture and sensitivity. Third sometimes because of less calcium and vitamin d , it can lead osteoporosis like changes.x ray useful.
