What Causes Severe Pain Around The Hips And Thighs?

i have a searing pain around hip thigh area that makes it difficult to walk at put pressure on it, whislt bending and crouching.seemed to occur 6-8 weeks ago when did extensive camper van washing - bending down and scrubbing from the side facing. hurts when lifting things

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have severe pain around the hips and thighs. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like sciatica , cyst , muscle spasm or soft tissue injury . I would suggest you to consult orthopedic surgeon for proper examination . Doctor may order nerve conduction test , CT scan , MRI or and physical examination . Doctor may prescribe muscle relaxant along with anti inflammatory , antibiotics , Doctor may recommend surgical excision or physical therapy . For now do gentle massage with almond oil , apply warm compresses and take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain .
