What Causes Severe Nose Bleed And Dryness In The Nose?

hELLO I am getting nose bleeds that seem to be getting worse, i though it was just allergies because my nose has been really dry but today was the worst one of all? It was coming out of both nostrils and when i plugged my nose the blood came out of my mouth, then i coughed up a blood clot about the size of lime.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of severe nose bleed and dryness in nose. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like infection , trauma , allergic and nonallergic rhinitis, hypertension and use of blood thinning medications . Nose bleeding in case of head injury sometimes become a emergency condition if there are symptoms like dizziness , vomiting and neck pain. Need not to worry. You should touching or picking nose with any sharp object. I would suggest you to consult pediatrician for proper examination . Doctor may order CT scan , MRI and do physical examination . Doctor may refer you to neurologist or ENT specialist if he/she finds problem to be related with brain injury or problem related to nose .
