What Causes Severe Night Sweats With Numb Arm, Painful Neck And Fatigue?

I just turned 60, female, whom had a complete hysterectomy over 20 years ago. For the last few months I have been sweating below the waist at night to the point of the sheets needing to be changed. I am on high cholesterol medication, an anti-depressant and acid reflux medications. I have pain constantly in my neck with numbing of right arm. I am also always fatigued. What could be causing these night sweats?

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of severe night sweats with numb arm, painful neck and fatigue . The symptoms can occur due to viral infection . The symptoms can also occur due to hormonal imbalance , condition like cervical spondylosis , disc problem or heart problem .

I would suggest you to take anti-inflammatory medications such as Ibuprofen to prevent fever and body-ache. Drink plenty of fluids, have proper rest. You should take muscle relaxant as well. Do warm saline gargles.

Take analgesic and take light diet. Your symptoms will resolve in 3-4 days. If symptoms keeps on persisting visit general physician once and get it examined and start treatment after proper examination and prescription.

Doctor may refer you to orthopedic surgeon for cervical or disc problem or cardiologist ib case of heart problem .
