What Causes Severe Neck Pain?
i have some questions re burning neck pain. The skin is red, not raised at all or sore. The pain is inside my neck and jaw area. When its bad it makes me salivate from under the tongue and it hurts. When the pain is worse inside my neck the skin get more red.

You seem tohave cervical spondylosis /disc prolapse ... causing pressure on facial nerve... or inflammation of the nerve , which causes such symptoms
Imaging investigations like x ray,CT scan or MRI ....would pin point the cause.
A spinal sutgeon would advise suitable treatment.(medicines, physiothetapy or surgery in few cases)
