What Causes Severe Muscle Spasms And Stomach Upset Post A Back Surgery?

I recently had back surgery and was sent home on Tylenol #4 q 3 hrs and methocarbonate q 6 hrs. I keep having trouble after taking these for getting severe muscle spasms, an upset stomach ( no vomiting ) and a fever. Could it have anything to do with these mess?
