What Causes Severe Mood Swings And Short Temperedness When On Nexito?

My husband, 46 yrs, is on the following medicines each day: Oxetol300- 1 tab at night Lithosun300 - 2 tabs at night Nexito 5 - 1 tab in the morning He has been on these for the last 17 years. Meanwhile he became diabetic in 1999,ie. 15 years and he is on corresponding medicine too. Very recently I find him very impatient and short tempered and sometimes turns violent on very small issues. He is not ready to see his doctor too. Is there any way to pacify him,? Please help.

he is undergoing mood swings right now because of the fading effects of his psychiatric medication. you need to take the help of your relatives as you alone will be difficult to control him.he needs to be talked in a very calm and consoling manner.he needs to understand that he can get more worse if not consulted immediatly. its better you take his medical history by urself to the psychiatrist and request him to give medicine temporarily till your husband calms down and he himself then will agree to visit personally.
