What Causes Severe Menstrual Cramps And Brown Vaginal Discharge?

Hi I have a very unusual period and cramps want help.. Me and my husband have been trying for a baby since November 2016. I don t think I m pregnant since it s being almost half a year and I only am worried I m sick or something. Usual period 25-27 days stable and I know what discharge is normal for me. This time I started feeling cramps and changes in breast on day 17. And on day 20-21 I started to have brown discharge like menstruating but very very little, it s day 25 now and I am feeling cramps and overall like menstruation even my breasts stopped hurting (usually stops the day of my period) I can only see the brown discharge when I go to restroom it s more today but very unusual color and timing.. I didn t do any tests for pregnancy because will be looking into fertility issues like I said no pregnancy since November so I am extremely worried I m sick ... please help me

Hi, I think if you have tried for 6 months, you can go for a evaluation now. Do a thyroid profile and prolactin levels and a ultrasound for your uterus and ovaries. Also a semen analysis of your husband should be done. Track your ovulation by repeated ultrasound or ovulation detection kits. If you are ovulating and test everything is fine, you can try 6 more months naturally. Be in contact with your husband every 2 to 3 days after your periods stop. It will increase chances of your pregnancy.
