What Causes Severe Loss Of Appetite And Tiredness While On Ranitidine?
My husband has recently taken lansoprazole but thought to be causing his extreme fatigue (he has a littleiron deficiency) he was changed to ranitidine and since then he has been suffering from extreme loss of appetite and even worse tiredness consequently losing weight. Can loss of appetite be caused by the ranitidine?

no ranitidine is not known to cause weight loss and tiredness... it's something else ... details examination for lymphnode liver spleen etc . get base line investigations like blood cp, liver function tests ... record ur weight how much weight in specific time period u r loosing. record temperature routinely
