What Causes Severe Knee Pain Radiating Down The Leg?

I HAVE SEVERE KNEE PAIN ON MY LEFT KNEE, MAINLY ON THE LATERAL SIDE AND BACK OF KNEE. PAIN RADIATES DOWN MY LEG. CAN T BEND MY KNEE MUCH WITHOUT ALOT OF PAIN. I HAVE PREVIOUSLY HAD 2 MEDIAL MESICU SURGERIES SEVERAL YEARS AGO. cOULD THIS BE A TEAR IN THE LATERAL MENISCUS?

I can understand your concern.
By your history and description, possibility of soft tissue (ligamental) injury is more likely.
So better to consult orthopedic doctor and get done clinical examination, x ray and MRI of knee joint.
If it is lateral meniscus or cruciate ligamental injury then you will need arthroscopic surgery.
