I am a 20 year old girl. I have been experiencing this serious joint pain on my elbow, knee and ankle even sometimes my shoulder. I have been feeling this pain since I was 12 years. There are limitations of movement in the joints and a swollen on the knee joint. The pain is more with stress and cold. General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Your joint pain can be due to low serum calcium or vitamin D levels (revealed with blood testing) & relieved by supplements / Joint inflammation due to arthritis (rheumatic ).

Needs to be investigated to be followed by specific medication.. to treat joint pain &prevent other complications like heart problems.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
