Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had a colonoscopy four days ago, and keep having strong headaches come and go. I don t usually have headaches. Could they be related to the colonoscopy? I haven t taken anything for them because OTC pain meds usually don t help, constipate me, and then the pain is worse in a day or two. Thank you.
Hello Dear. Your headache may be just related to your stress due to colonoscopic procedure, which will be usually painful. Do take rest, get enough sleep, and divert your attention by reading books, listening to music or persuing any hobby you like. Headache has nothing to do with colonoscopy.
Hope i have answered your question. Feel free to contact me if you have any more questions. I ll be glad to help you. All the best With warm regards Dr Sanjay Kini
