Hi my Husband Hemansu is having sever headache more than 10 years now, we did consult few DRs and all say that its due to Migraine. However, of late we can notice that there is swelling on the left side of forehead and the pain is unbearable. We need help.
There is a small chance that you had an injury but were not aware of it. In this case, you can treat it by resting well and drinking lots of water.
Along with this, ice the area for 15 minutes at a time to see if the swelling goes down. If the swelling goes down, then it might not be so serious. If the swelling does not go down, then we need to look at other reasons for the swelling.
For the pain, you can take tablet Paracetamol 500 2 to 3 times a day when you get the headaches. But I feel that you will need stronger medication and that you should see a Neurologist if the headache persists. All the best.
Hope this helps you
