Hello,

By your history and description, the possibility of viral infection is more likely.
So follow these steps for better symptomatic relief.

1. Drink plenty of fluids orally and keep yourself hydrated.

2. Start simple painkillers like paracetamol or ibuprofen.

3. Apply warm water pad on back and head.

4. Take proper rest and sleep. You will mostly improve with all these in 2-3 days. If not improving then consult a doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Kaushal Bhavsar, Pulmonologist
