Neurologist 's  Response
Hello!

Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!

Your symptoms seem to be caused by temporal arteritis, which is an inflammatory disorder affecting the temporal arteries.

I would recommend consulting with a neurologist for a physical exam and some tests:

- a brain CT scan or MRI
- complete blood count, PCR, sedimentation rate for inflammation.

It is a serious medical condition and I would strongly recommend consulting with your doctor as soon as possible to exclude this disorder.

Hope to have been helpful!
Kind regards, Dr. Aida
