What Causes Severe Headache And Black Eye?

I woke up this morning with a headache it feels like a pulsing pain in the upper right side of my head. It has been hurting all day even after taking prescription Ibprorifin and Excedrin. I noticed my right eye was looking like a black eye about mid morning. I am afraid to go to sleep. Could I have an aneurysm? Should I go to the emergency room or can I wait til morning?

I can understand your concern.
Pulsating headache with Unilateral black eye are more suggestive of brain pathology.
So immediately consult neurologist and get done blood pressure monitoring and MRI brain.
If both these are normal then no need to worry for brain pathology like aneurysm or heamorrhage.
Sometimes simple migraine can also cause similar symptoms.
So take propranolol and flunarizine combination at night.
Avoid stress and tension, be relax and calm. Avoid excessive sun exposure. Drink plenty of fluids orally and keep yourself hydrated. Take sound sleep of 6-8 hours.
Don't worry, you will be alright with all these.
