What Causes Severe Headache After Taking Primidone?

I started on Primidone about 3 weeks ago. I started out taking 12.5mg and increased my dose up every 3 days. I took 150mg for the first time two nights ago and have had the worse headache of my life since yesterday morning. I am taking Primidone for an essential tremor in my hands due to me being a nurse. I previously took Propranolol and it worked for my tremor but caused a major depression. Should I decrease the dose of Primidone back down to 100mg?

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Primidone can cause headache.
So your headache is mostly related to higher dose of primidone.
So you should reduce the dose to 100mg.
Drink plenty of fluids orally and keep yourself hydrated.
