What Causes Severe Hamstring Spasms After Taking Cortisone Shot For Knee?
After getting a corrisone injection Monday on my knee (front lower lateral side of the knee) I woke up at 3 am Wednesday with severe hamstring spasms that have continued through the day, is this a concern? There s no fever, redness, and the knee isn t warm to the touch.

I really appreciate your concern, intra-articular injection is invasive procedure and painful, here it needs to be ruled out for internal bleeding, trauma, you can wait for few days and NSAID can be tried till then and best drug would be Tab Diclofenac 50 mg once in day hope this information helps.
