What Causes Severe Hair Loss?
I have started to lose a lot of hair recently. My thyroid was tested & ok. Dr. Suggested a dermatologist. I take a lot of meds but haven t found any that lists hair loss as a side effect. I m a hairdresser, so needless to say, I m really stressed out! Do you have any ideas?

Hair loss can be due to variety of reasons. Most common being hereditary hair loss running in the family. Other causes include local infections. If it is hereditary then you may require taking Finasteride which is very good medicine for hair loss. If it is inflammatory then cause for infection to be treated weather bacterial or fungal.
