What Causes Severe Hair Loss While On Warfarin?

I have been losing a lot of hair in the past few months. It s now to the point where I need to wear a wig. I am a 69-year-old woman who experienced Atrial Fibrillation several times last summer. I am now taking Warfarin to prevent potential clots. Could the medication be causing my hair loss?

medication is not the cause of loosing hair. first get examined for dandruff. if found then apply nizral solution followed by nizral shampoo several time. maintain hygiene and sanitation of scalp. look for cleanliness of comb
