What Causes Severe Groin Pain Despite Being Treated For It?

In the past 6 months I ve had 3 si inject. In my back due to groin pain. Also recently 2 steroid injection in the groin, my MD things groin pain is coming from rt. Hip. My HX. 16 yrs ago spondoloslesthesis which resulted in a spinal fusion L4,L5, S1. Lately the groin pain is so serve it is affecting my ability to walk for any long period. Tonight in a lot of pain even when I lay down. Don t know where to turn next

Hello,

It could be due to nerve compression.

You can consider drugs like gabapentin as it is more effective for this condition.

If symptoms persists better to consult a neurologist and get evaluated.
