What Causes Severe Fatigue?

I have been losing strength at a rapid pace even though I workout with weights 3 days a week. I am knowledgeable concerning nutrition, exercise etc. as I have been doing this for several years and have coached world level competitors in Olympic weightlifting, power lifting and track and field. Are the drugs I am taking influencing this rapid loss over the past few years.

Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

The weakness may be due to electrolyte imbalance or anemia or hypothyroidism or Addison's disease or infections or chronic fatigue syndrome or insomnia or sleep apnea etc.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Use tablet Ubinext LC.

Please check the hemoglobin count, serum electrolyte levels, thyroid status etc., through a blood test.

Please consult your doctor, he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu,
