What Causes Severe Fatigue While On Synthroid?
I m experiencing extreme exhaustion. I can t stay awake, and it s worse after eating. I m 64 years old , female, diabetic on 2 insulin (short & long term), sugars run in 200 s, have had my thyroid removed and use synthroid religiously. Could this be adrenal fatigue? Or something else?

good day and noted your question. such symptoms could be due to uncontrolled diabetes or even due to inadequately treated hypothyroidism. However, as you mentioned, adrenal fatigue needs to be ruled out. I would suggest to do an Hba1c, CBC,TSH, Free T4, 8 AM serum cortisol, Electrolytes to begin with.
