What Causes Severe Fatigue, Nausea And Hot Flashes While Driving?

Today I was driving and became very hot, tired and nauseated. It felt like I could have fallen asleep at any moment. I was able to hold back the nausea for awhile but later everything came up. I felt a little better but as soon as I got home I went straight to sleep. When I woke up I still felt a little strange but no longer hot. I cooked dinner and went back to sleep. I hadn t been outside very much today other than getting in and out of the car. But yesterday I was out there for several hours cutting the gas.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Fatigue, nausea/vomiting and feeling hot can be due to a possible viral infection. The fact that the symptoms started instantly and you have not had these episodes previously leads towards the diagnosis of a viral infection. Continuing to feel hot can be due to fever.

I would recommend you to drink plenty of water, eat well and rest as much as possible. You should feel much better in 3-4 days.
If you are not any better in 3-4 days or you think you are any worse please see your doctor.

I hope this answers your query.
I remain at your disposal for further medical assistance.

Regards,

Dr. Antoneta Zotaj
