What Causes Severe Fatigue, Lightheadedness, Disorientation And Back Pain?

Recently I have fatigue, lightheaded, disoriented, back pain and back pain. I went to my monthly visit to my primare care doctor and my blood pressure was 80 over 32, It has been ok since (2 weeks). I had had blood work done in his office a week before my monthly visit. He did say anything was wrong with it. I called him to explain how I felt and he recommended a brain scan. My next appointment with him is on Dec. 3, 2016 and my brain scan is sceduled for Dec. 27, 2016. I really do not want to wait that long feeling like this. Should I call him again?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

If you do not have any confusion, weakness of any part of the brain, slurring of speech, severe headache with neck pain, balance problem, then you can wait for the scan.

However, if you have any of the above symptoms or you feel very sick then you should contact your doctor or go to the ER.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mahboob Ur Rahman,
