Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Severe Fatigue, Anxiety And Dizziness?
Over the past two weeks I ve felt increasingly tired. At points in the day I feel like I could close my eyes and fall right asleep, but then when it comes to bed time I have the worst sleeps and don t wake up feeling rested. I never had a problem with sleep in the past. My period was also late by two weeks this month and pregnancy test says negative. At times I feel shakey, anxious and sweaty for no reason almost to the point that I feel I could faint. For a while after those spells, I feel very very lethargic and dizzy. Ive kept an eye on my blood sugars throughout the day and they have been fine in the 4-6 ranges. I do not have diabetes although both sides of my family have history of it. I appreciate any guidance you may have for me. Thank you
hi there. Symptoms you described are consistent with Hypoglycemia (Low blood sugar), anemia and thyroid imbalance among many others. As you have already ruled out Hypoglycemia, I would recommend you check your hemoglobin, blood cell count to rule out anemia and Thyroid function tests to check thyroid levels.
