What Causes Severe Fatigue And Swelling In The Legs?
Hi my mum is 75yrs old she is terminally ill with secondary lung cancer .she has been very tried of late . She went to her dioctors he done a blood test she is low in iron but after taking the tables for 5 days her legs have started to swell up can this because of the iron tablets ? Thank you

No, iron can't lead to such problem. Her fatigue can explain with low Hb level. Swelling can be due to venous or lymphatic obstruction as a tumor grows. It may compress surround tissues and cause edema.
