Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Severe Fatigue And Pain In The Shoulders?
lately I have been really tired, even after 8 or 9 hours sleep. Aches that seem strange to me, one real bad ache in my right shoulder on top, and the other day my left knee where I could hardly walk on it. The knee only was only for a few days, but my shoulder still aches and bothers me. This has been going on for about two months. I keep assuming it is because I am getting older but I am only a 60 year old female???
I would recommend meeting a physiotherapist. They can initiate you on suitable exercises which will help your shoulder get better. I will net be able to suggest the exercises here because you will first need to be examined and the diagnosis confirmed. The exercises vary with the diagnosis to be confirmed.
You can also tell them about your knee, in case you are developing osteoarthritis, they can prescribe you a suitable exercise so that it does not recur.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Best wishes,
Dr Mittal
