What Causes Severe Earache After A Popping Inside Ear?

I got slapped on ear and I haven t been able to hear really good,tpday I went swimming and my cousin pushede in the pool and it popped really bad that I started hurting. It s been hurting for 4 hours now. I cried because I can t bare the pain. What should I do?

Hello. You need an ear examination to rule out traumatic ear drum perforation. Swimming may have caused a secondary bacterial infection in ear.
Strong analgesics and antibiotics may be required for control of pain and infection . Please see an ENT physician for management. Regards.
